I've been trying to decide on a detector to get. Originally I was looking at the Garrett ATX Extreme or Pro. The main feature I like being the fact that it can be so compact and fit into a backpack basically. Now I am looking at the CTX3030. For the sake money it looks like it has a lot more awesome features and it looks to be a lot nicer detector. But dosent look like it has the ability to be as compact or collapsible. I read a few bad reviews about the ATX aswell. But everything with the CTX looks really good. I mainly want a really nice detector for looking for gold nuggets.
