I bought the Nokta-Makro Racer2 from KellyCo last year and love it (simple). I live in an area of iron infested rocks in upstate NY and am a keen relic hunter. (Not very successful)! The new coils...SP22 and SP24 (8.5"), according to video reviews are better than the 11" coil. Why can't the Simplex come standard with one or the other? What are major differences between the new coils and the 11" ? View answer

How long does the charge last on the pulse dive? I remember watching a review that said it lasted around 14 hours, that just doesn't sound right to me. Especially since my scuba techtor only lasts about one hour and 30 minutes, thank you for your time. View answer

After seeing a video on the vanquish 440 where it turns itself off if you lay it down a little rough. I found that mine does the same thing. Has this problem been diagnosed and is there a fix for this? It seems to me that it has to be in the battery compartment connections. I just ordered a 540 machine and hopefully it won't have this problem. If there is a fix, please email me as to the remedy. View answer

What detector should I buy with easy ground balance that will not go off constantly in iron ore. I want to gold hunt. I need something that will find nuggets as well as small pieces. My great grandfather was a blacksmith and melted down and refined gold for an Indian. No one could ever find his working area. They tried following him but he always gave them the slip. The area has lots of iron ore. What detector do you suggest? I’m not by far a professional. I do live one block from the ocean. The other hunting is in the Appalachian mountains where I grew up.
