I got a minelab equinox 600 with minelab handheld. The handheld sometimes works and some times doesn't. I do not have the volume + or - on it only on off same button. I figured out 2 tabs means on and 3 tabs mean off. But some times when I test it it does not viabraite or make a noise when on a metal piece. It takes several time and some time not at all to work. I am very dissatisfied with it. Can I return this one for a new one with volume control? Just got for Christmas, so it is new.SUE MACNEAL View answer

But would that same description still apply to a long distance runner?
