I have an ace 400 detector. I have been thinking about getting a newer one lately. any suggestion? I still have an older detector that I have had for many years now but, the battery compartment broke and I can't find a new one? Other than that....I works fine. I have used it in southwest Texas on the battlefields of Palo Alto and also Resaca de la Palma! I have recovered Many artifacts from those battlefields along with many artifacts from a former campsite during the Mexican War along the Banks of the Rio Grande river. Oh xxxx , I got thrown out of there because the goverment decided to build the Spaceex. Just down the road from Brownsville texas. Oh well, that's life and I'll not forget it.
